End User License Agreement

Please read this agreement before using Doric. By installing or using the software, you agree to these terms.

1. License Grant

Doric Software LLC ("we", "us") grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Doric on devices you own or control, for your personal or business bookkeeping purposes.

2. Restrictions

You may not:

  • Redistribute, sell, or sublicense the software or the installer
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software
  • Remove or alter any copyright notices or branding

3. Your Data

Doric stores your data in a file on your own machine. We do not have access to your books or financial data. You are responsible for backing up your data.

Optional Doric Cloud features (bank feeds and cloud backup), if enabled, are subject to the Doric Cloud Terms.

4. No Warranty

Doric is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. We make no guarantees that the software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for any particular purpose. You use the software at your own risk.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss of data, loss of profits, or any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Doric, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

6. Updates

We may release updates to Doric from time to time. Updates are subject to this agreement unless a new agreement is presented at the time of update.

7. Termination

This license remains in effect until terminated. It terminates automatically if you violate any of these terms. On termination you must stop using the software and delete all copies in your possession.

We reserve the right to terminate licenses in cases of redistribution violations or other material breaches.

8. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

9. Changes to This Agreement

We may update this agreement from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the application or the website. Continued use of the software after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
